Application Instructions for Flat Roof Repairs With BARR Waterproof Mastic

Step 1‐ Remove all loose material, standing water, frost, dust and dirt around the repair area
and apply enough BARR to the repair area, that when troweled smooth will extend past the
void a minimum of 1” in all directions.

Step 2‐ Embed an appropriate size piece of ReBARR polyester fabric into the wet mastic and
dry trowel it into place.

Step 3‐ Apply enough BARR to the surface of the ReBARR fabric that when troweled smooth
that it completely covers all the fabric. Make sure all edge perimeters of the BARR mastic are
feathered smooth.

Option‐ If desired, shingle granules can be sprinkled into the wet top dressing of the BARR
mastic for aesthetic reasons.
