Knucklehead flat roof pipe supports are light weight, adjustable pipe supports for use on flat roofing systems.

KnuckleHeads are impervious to water, biological attack and freeze-thaw conditions. The Adjustable KnuckleHead accommodates two ½”diameter pipes in small channels, or a single 1” pipe in a large channel. A Large KnuckleHead, available via special order, accommodates two 1 ½” pipes in small channels, or in the large channel, a 3” pipe, Unistrut, All thread, or 2” section of lumber.

Knuckleheads are designed for flat roofing to support gas line, waterline, PVC, Black pipe, electrical conduit and more.

The redesigned Knucklehead accommodates height changes and can be easily raised and lowered from a height of 3 1/8” to 4 1/8”,usually eliminating the need for a riser. Cheap wood sleepers can damage your work and reputation! Adjustable: 4” diameter x 3 1/8” - 4 1/8 ”high Keeps pipes, conduit, walkways and equipment high and dry.

Knuckleheads Flat Roof Pipe Supports are impervious to water and freeze thaw cycles. Additionally they will not rot or deteriorate.

Knuckleheads packaging includes M-1 structural adhesive and sealant to adhere them to the roof surface. Many contractors find our ChemCurb product for sealing around the pipe where it enters the roofing system. In Florida they will typically strap the conduit to the Knuckle heads using small screws and metal strapping.  Some go as far as using M-1 and strapping.  Either method will work for that environment and building code. Outside of the hurricane areas most applications either adhere the Knuckleheads to the roof or the conduit tot the Knucklehead using M-1..

 Loose-laid wood block sleepers deteriorate as a result of freezing, thawing, UV exposures and biological attack. Metal brackets corrode and screws back out. Movement, dirt and disintegrating wood create "rot spots” and often lead to premature death for properly installed roof membranes.

KnuckleHeads install quickly with tough M-1®structural adhesive/sealant. KnuckleHeads adhered with M-1® prevent water, ice and dirt from under riding support and attacking roofing membranes. KnuckleHead support systems minimize damage by wind, ice, flying debris, vandalism and seismic events. Knuckleheads help disperse weight to the desired points along the bonded structure. Small membrane pads may be used to further disperse the weight.
