Our water based garage floor epoxy applies at a thickness of 6 mils per coat. Our kit includes enough material for two coats of the base (2 Gallons Pat A, 2 Quarts Part B) material PLUS an aliphatic urethane top coat. Our water based epoxy coating system comes in 6 standard base colors and includes your choice of 12 different flake combinations. This means your paint chip garage floor epoxy system is available in 72 combinations at no extra charge to you .

While box stores and many internet sites require you to purchase all of the components ala carte, we include the epoxy, urethane, flakes and even the basic installation tools!

Our epoxy coating systems are UV stable and have good chemical resistance. The system is 53% solids by weight. Each kit will cover 250-300 Sq. Ft. That is about the size of a one car garage. Our water based system is applied in three coats. Two coats of epoxy with a wet film thickness of 5-7 Mils per coat. The flakes are broadcast into the second coat of epoxy. Then a third coat is applied. The third coat is a high quality VOC compliant aliphatic urethane.

Our water based epoxy has a workable pot life of 1 to 1.5 hours. We typically recommend waiting 7-10 hours between coats. For best results wait 24 hours before resuming light foot traffic and at least 7 days before resuming vehicular traffic. Cure times will be longer at temperatures below 70°F and faster at higher temperatures. Humidity will also effect cure times. You must ensure that your system is fully cured before placing heavy objects on it or driving on it.
